A facility is a vital tool for ministry. At the present, we are challenged to find enough on-site space during the week because of the growth of several of our ministries, and it is very difficult to run concurrent ministries. We are also maxing out our children’s space on Sunday mornings. Off-site space that is most conducive to potential ministry use is educational space. Most of these locations in our community either are not available, cannot be counted on for long-term use, or have significant limitations as to how they can be used. We must expand our facility to acquire more space and the right kind of space so that lives can be transformed. Our hope is to build an addition that will allow us to reach more people for Jesus Christ and to minister more effectively to the needs of individuals and families in our community.
The BEYOND initiative is funding an expansion that includes:
- North Venue - a mid-sized room (250+) which accommodates several growing ministries and facilitates the running of multiple programs at the same time.
- Mezzanine - a large multi-functional second floor space overlooking the North Venue.
- Youth Lounge - a dedicated room in which our students can "hang out."
- Children’s Ministry - relocation of our nursery to the main floor, which frees up additional classroom space on the second floor for various kids' programs.
- Auditorium - improvements to the stage, lighting, projection, and sound in our current auditorium.
- Administration - relocation and expansion of the office space for staff and volunteers.
